Nice. Thanks for that.
Best wishes, and best of luck with this
Well, got sidetracked by overtime at work. Can't seem to upload what I have done so far, but I did use Tifa from FF7 Advent Children as a body shape reference. Still sculpting details, then making 1-2 outfits (Anything specific just say, or I'll do the miner overalls and the Tomb Raider ones). Then I'll paint it, and probably have to post it to my own page.
5' 6", feminine soft/atheletic? The game always says she is strong, so I had started off at 5' 8", with a feminine/fit build like a cross country runner. Not heavy muscle definition, but reasonably built to convey strength.
You can do your best to describe, I will do my best to sculpt it. She is your character, should be done enough to make you satisfied with the result.
If you want to toss a reference for anything (face shape, body shape, heck even clothes) I'd be glad to help. I'm going to adjust the model I already started on to reflect what you've already clarified.
Hey, currently blocking out Hailey in Blender. Using a fit but not overly muscular/Thicc base shape. Taller, good athletics, any requests for face or build? She will be better endowed, because it was already established.
I just want either the green light to continue or stick to what you think she would properly look like for this. Will Post pics once the modeling is near done.
Alright, then. Was planning on an old level, change it so a little more like the old Tomb Raider style of platformer, in Unreal Engine 5. Is this acceptable?
And would you like to contribute anything such as feedback based on this? I mean, I am using your characters and IP for this. So it'll be a collaboration, right? You just won't have to do much.
Says the one who actually cares about that stuff. You want x-thing, any anybody who doesn't is a rascist. Your arguement is weak. If they established the character, it is what it is. If they established a customizer and left it vague like Skyrim or something, great, have fun playing any way you wish. They haven't, the Nightguard is who he is. You want him to be different. Either make your own game, or figure out how to mod this one. Stop your whinging and let the creator creat.
The comparison to Tony Stark was meant to illustrate a point. Tony Stark was established, and a poorly written character was made to justify a change to him. Like Doctor Who being changed, not just the character on a fundamental level, but the entire lore of the universe that was written around him. And it wasn't even done well.
The fact is all you care about is "my representation", not "what is the story". What, you want a black, skrawny, mostly unemployed loser to feel represented? Because that is what Nightguard in this game represents. He is a young, unemployed loser that could be Caucasian, or most eastern Asian types, so a broad ambiguity is established.
The fact that you make a demand on a creator because your feelings, a demand that is nowhere near as easy as you apparently think it is, says more about you than all your previous arguements so far.
I am a patreon, I demand nothing from the creator other than to make a game that entertains.
You say paradoxical, but what you did is actually racist. They made a character, you're unhappy with the race. It's like race-swapping pre-established characters instead of making unique ones. Tony Stark is established, requestiong he be changed to x-thing because feelings is racist. Just as bad as changing Black Panther to anything other than what he is.
The nightguard is established. Leave it be. If you want x-thing, make your own game. I want x-thing, I'm trying to learn enough to make my own.
Trying to say what you request is not racist is farcical. The fact you either won't admit it, or try to argue that I'm the racist for simply not caring about anything other than established lore, is more a show of you than me.
