Very enjoyable demo! I'm looking forward to seeing how this game develops.

I haven't been using a VPN, no, and given my setup I think it's unlikely to be a broadband issue. I would try the offline version but it seems like more trouble than it is worth. 

I do hope you're able to find whatever the issue might be.

It seems to happen with both the first and second levels. I haven't progressed any further due to the glitch.

I noticed a tendency for the game to crash when loading into new levels or when hitting continue after getting defeated, leaving the heroine frozen on screen with the blue wave effect behind her and no way to input commands. The music continued, however. It only seemed to happen when starting a new level after completing one or when hitting continue. Refreshing the page solved the issue though this obviously isn't ideal

I was running the game on Firefox on Windows 10. I also tried it with Chrome and encountered the same problem.
