Thank you!

Yes it is. Every game on our roster is the most current, and most of them include Mapper 2 versions now that will work with iOS emulators like Delta

Literally finished the Jim & Dill 1 manual and uploaded it about an hour after you asked. Crazy coincidence! Reminded me to upload the Bobby one.

So sorry for the delay. Been focused on finishing Jim & Dill 3. As of right now, the manual IS available as a PDF.

Funny you should ask. Jim & Dill - The Legend of Weed N' Stiff (Jim & Dill 1) now has a PDF manual available. The manual for Bobby Six Seven is also now available. Jim & Dill 3 has a manual available already, and Jim & Dill  2 should have one ready to go within the next few days.

A prequel to Jim & Dill - The Legend of Weed N' Stiff, and Jim & Dill 2 - Bobson's Revenge

Take control of Jim Weed and Dill Stiff in this origin story about the band that saved rock & roll forever. Meet new and familiar characters as you form the band, make a demo tape, get a manager, and rise to fame over the universally-loathed band Moo Cow and their singer: Joe Bobson.

Arcade City is your home, and you seek the Legendary Studio... known for crafting rock stars. Joe Bobson has been searching for this studio his entire life.

Traverse the countryside and uncover the history of Joe Bobson and the Bobson family as you strive to find the path to rock & roll royalty.

haha, apparently being able to break games is valuable!

Yeah actually… if you get all the lizards (5, I think?)  you’ll be able to talk to the guy outside the castle by the gate. He’ll let you in the back door and you’ll end up in the hallway with the key/skeleton (skipping the first half of the castle)

there’s also a weird passage to get straight to the castle from the beginning of the game, but you won’t have a weapon (unless you get the taser before going to the passage)

And there’s a way to go straight from Rocktown to the mountain cave (skipping the snow)

Interesting. I’m aware of a glitch that won’t trigger the fight if you spam the buttons during the dialogue (which I’m in the process of fixing), but to get around that, all you have to do is just talk to him again and you’re good to go.

…But I’ve never heard of the dialogue just failing to trigger altogether! That’s a new one. I’ll dig into it and see what I can find.

in the interest of finishing the game, what happens if you kill yourself on the spikes?

yes to both of those things. You can’t talk to him?

thank you so much! That’s weird about the graveyard… I’ve not heard of that glitch before. Not sure what could’ve caused it.

Physical copies of 1 and 2 are available for preorder at premiumeditiongames.com

the 3rd game is coming soon (prequel), if you enjoyed these:

Ha! if it doesn’t say 2023 on the title screen, then it’s an older build. I tried to glitch the 1973 portal 10 times the other night and couldn’t break it. So hopefully what I did fixed it for the current version!

as for the warp out of 1885, I’ve never seen that one before. I’ll take a look!

The upgraded guns have different hit detection and I must’ve not coded them to collide with the chairs. I noticed that a while back and there was a reason I left it the way it is… just can’t remember what that reason is at the moment, lol.

Did you know you can shoot Frank in the main lobby with the regular gun? He just gets mad.

also, after you capture Zorbass for good and return to the station, there’s a way to jump up and over the wall into the chief’s office. Hell notice, and say something.

There’s also a way to warp straight to the prehistoric level. In the newest build, it warps you straight to the last level.

ah the joys of NES coding & glitches! I came across this one time, and altered some code that I thought would fix it. Had something to do with screen scrolling not triggering between scenes. I couldn’t ever replicate the issue, so I figured it was fixed. I guess not! Although I don’t know which version of the rom you have.

I’ll take a look and see if there’s anything I can do. Luckily it’s only the 2nd level.

Thank you so much for playing it! Physical copies go into production soon, and can be preordered at premiumeditiongames.com

physical copies now on pre-order over at premiumeditiongames.com!

there might be eventually! For now there’s just a handful being made, but weighing doing a kickstarter.

check your email! Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Mapper 2 has been supported in every emulator we tried, but the Mapper 30 version will work. Just make sure your Everdrive has current firmware, as the current Everdrive firmware will support the file emailed to you.

...there's no box art for WS1 (yet, perhaps at some point) so here is the cartridge label art for both games.

(1 edit)

it should! As long as the NES emulator supports mapper 30.

Version 1E! Fight your way through the world of weirdness and rock n’ roll.

Play as the comedy band Weed N’ Stiff, punching and kicking your way through their world in an attempt to defeat Joe Bobson of the rival band Moo Cow, and save rock and roll!

A silly beat-em-up with a silly story and a silly outcome.  Downloadable NES rom.
