I like the aesthetic and the color scheme :). Perhaps a way to fix the blind jump issue is to change the resolution the game runs at so that more of the game is visible. 

Also, perhaps the ability to buy upgrades for your weapon/movement. Speed increases, bullet speed, bullet damage, bullet piercing, multishot, etc.

Also a fan of the bullet-killing-bullet mechanic.

I really like how you merged tower defense into the game. It would be cool if you could have enemies coming from both/more directions so there is an element of strategy to tower placement.
