every now and then i replay this just to run my brain over the prose and worldbuilding like a cat rubbing up against a favorite chair's upholstery--i'm just here (again) because i love (love) the texture.

unfinished and short but highly recommended. prose neatly threads the needle between lushly descriptive and sparsely efficient. worldbuilding is deft and delicious: if you take the term urban fantasy and divorce it from genre associations i think you'll get a good sense of it.

can't believe i haven't rated it before, but i guess this is just a chance to wish the creator a happy 2025 when i do :)
