Hi guys.
Let me just very quickly introduce myself. My name is Peter Cernuska and I'm 41. I'm founder and producer of a brand new studio for the development of storytelling video games with managerial aspects that is currently looking for new members. I have experience mainly in business and entrepreneurship and was quite successful as business representative as well although in different industry than video games but I'm big fan of old school games. I like pixelart and games with deep and highly polished ( preferably high quality storytelling ) content/gameplay that you can play for endless hours and enjoy their atmosphere, gameplay and environment that will suck you in and don't let you out until you finish them. Moreover since 2011 I took interest in game development industry and understand it quite well mainly from biz side but from the content side ( means what audience/market want ) as well.
I want to produce mainly games with storytelling and management aspects of gameplay and later move to pure storytelling without any gameplay aspects when the team will be ready and experienced enough to produce sufficient quantity of high quality storytelling content and audiovisuals but at the beginning the games will consists mainly from the managerial aspects of gameplay that would work as temporary solution and substitution for storytelling aspects of gameplay cause it is much simpler to produce without large overhead of production of audiovisual storytelling content and will entertain the player for many hours with low cost of production. Over time the managerial aspects of gameplay will be diminishing and will be gradually replaced by storytelling content.
I want to start by producing minigames with approx. one month of development time but highly polished in terms of audiovisual presentation but mainly from gameplay perspective to offer the player many hours of high quality gameplay and entertainment to gain quickly experience for entire team and to find and formulate a success formula that we could build upon next and bigger projects so this approach should increase the chance of commercial success quite significantly. The first minigames should be just highly polished single room games to cut down production time and dev expenses so the ones that will be successful we could later expand by adding more content/rooms into those games alternatively we could start developing a brand new but bigger projects with the same/similar or completely different ideas in mind.
So the first developed games should be about the size of the famous A Dark Room but more polished mainly from audiovisual presentation or our very first game could be something like unknown Killer Inc. just more polished mainly from gameplay and storytelling perspective but from audiovisual presentation as well where the core gameplay would be aimed at the managerial aspects with bits of storytelling to support it as in mentioned A Dark Room so we could look at it as on strip down version of famous Papers, Please and down the road start developing such fully fledged games not just their strip down versions. We could produce even text based adventures at the beginning with min. amount of audiovisual presentation but later in par or even beyond infamous but audio-visually gorgeous Cypher.
I'm looking mainly for screenwriter, artist, sound guy and marketer and I can handle myself from game development side of projects the game design and the coding duties as well as from business side of things the marketing, production, management, monetization, funding etc. From the business side I would need to help mostly with the marketing, PR, brand/projects awareness and community building cause I will be quite busy to handle all the other tasks of the production hence I looking for the marketer as well to help me with marketing tasks. This is not regularly paid positions yet rather consider it as an opportunity to start something brand new as you would be the founding member to help to start the studio on so you would temporarily get paid just by the percentage of projects we negotiate on and you would collaborate on and just later when the studio would take off you would start getting paid regularly so if interested then get in touch with me please. Thanks and cheers guys. Peter
