on my attempted playthrough i encountered a number of game-breaking issues:

  • while airborne, i would occasionally be suddenly catapulted into the floor, killing me instantly
  • sometimes the jump pads would launch me down instead of up, killing me instantly
  • when riding on speed boosters and stoppers, my wheels would bounce erratically, making gaining speed almost impossible without getting flipped upside down (killing me almost instantly)

notably, all of these introduce some level of randomness into play. since you said in your video that you aimed to reduce randomness, i am assuming none of these are intentional and might only happen on my computer.

from what little i have seen of the game, it looks pretty fun! my only other complaint is that the rotation buttens should be switched (or have an option to be switched). the mechanics are thoroughly fun.

oh yeah i should also mention that this game is awesome, and i can't wait for the full release

bugs i have found so far:
-if you shoot a lot at the shades guy, you can lose letters permanently

-when you add water to the bottom right room, it lets you leave to the right out of bounds

-the movement of text boxes can push you into blocks, which lets you move around very strangely

-the sides of moving blocks can warp jimi up or down

-the halloween save can interfere with the normal save in weird ways

-winning the game made giving the cat any letter (or maybe just e?) win the game instantly

one time i got the halloween textbox to appear in the normal game, i jumped and it warped me through the floor into the cat room, and i gave them a single letter to beat the demo in 14 seconds

whenever i get caught by a hazard and get sent back to the entrance, i lose the ability to walk, all i can do is talk to the caretaker. i messed around in the options and unplugged my controller but nothing seemed to work. at that point i have to quit to title and reload the save.

otherwise, this game looks really nice! very wholesome and everything.

pretty cool, however i got a bug where jumping 3 tiles high would get the player stuck in a falling state, soft-locking me early on. also i feel the falling blocks were a little cheap

why didn't you backtrack and try a different path?
