game's pretty good. contracts kinda fall apart ~2007 because the chips cannot handle the temps for the scores required, so i think it'd be good idea to expand the options available past 2000

also, turning on automation for production lines just ignores how many lines you you have available :|

/spoilers ig, so don't read if you haven't done lake's route

thank you so, so, much for including a non-binary character. its so very rare to be represented in games, or even the wider media landscape. i've never felt quite right being called a man, and lake's route was just.. exactly the right thing at exactly the right time.

your game helped me discover who i am, and i can't thank you enough :)

yep, goes for all characters  :3

decompile the archive.rpa file in the game folder using your tool of choice, i use unrpa, and make your edit to the script.rpy file. delete script.rpyc, run the game and your changes will be applied :)

i.e. change define Arvo = Character("Arvo") to define Arvo = Character("name here")

solid 9.5/10, i'm glad that this ended as well as it did

spoilers ig?

as someone who fairly recently realised they're enby, i'm so glad that you've included not just a non binary character, but that their enby-ness is a major part of their character. i can name maybe 3 pieces of media that prominently feature someone non-binary, so i am unimaginably happy that something like this is included, even if it a felt a little heavy handed once.

sidenote, when replaying for each of the endings, i forgot how great the music is

holy hell you do not need to apologise for being slow for updates! considering you're doing the art, writing, composition and programming by yourself, the rate that updates are coming out is mad. i've seen whole teams come out with smaller updates on far longer timescales!

for some semblence of actual review, this is pretty great! the art is better than most, the music is good enough that i'd listen to it by itself and i absolutely love the worldbuidling. keep going at even half the quality you have right now and you'll have a fvn that's significantly better than most on itch.

build 16 is absolutely insane. from a mad concentration of some of the best art i have seen, to a soundtrack that goes hard and the best dramatic thread yet. it's hard to believe that this is not only free, but exists to begin with. i cannot express how much of a credit to the format this is.

very good! for something with only 3 of the 4 parts of the first chapter, this had some of the highest quality and abundance of art i've seen in an fvn yet! apart from some audio mixing issues <spoiler>especially during the climactic moment of tate's escape</spoiler> and inconsistent capitalisation during dialogue, i don't have any issues! a solid 8-8.5/10 vn, and i'm thoroughly excited to see where this goes next!

despite being called lust shards, this is still somehow a magnitude less horny than shelter

are you getting the hardware warning? some ren'py games act weird when not launched in fullscreen, such as not using hardware acceleration.

a pretty good game! art is really pretty; pacing is a little strange; exposition is woven into the story really well and the characters are well written. excited for the next chapter

Really pretty design, great music and I'm enjoying the story so far. Already can't wait for the next update!

holy fuck man.

just wow

10/10 writing out of this recent update
