Hey everyone!

I recently released the demo for my grappling hook platformer, Slimefrog! It was inspired by rage platformers like Getting Over It and Jump King so its quite a challenge. So far, nobody has beaten it so I challenge you to be the first person to beat the Slimefrog Demo! If you do manage to beat it, please post a screenshot in the comments of the game page. Good Luck!

Here's the link to the page https://chicken-rice.itch.io/slimefrog

You control Slimefrog, the protagonist who has somehow found himself stuck at the bottom of a cave in a alien planet. Use your tongue to grapple over increasingly difficult obstacles in order to escape!

Good Luck!

About

A free 2D local multiplayer game, where you can attack , deflect, thrust, and even flip off your opponent's head to secure victory.

It was inspired by Sekiro and Nidhogg.

This game is designed for you and a friend if you're ever feeling bored. You could host a local tournament with all your friends to see who ends up victorious, or just play a quick 5 minute game.

New features

- New mountain level (don't look down...)

- New music

- You can now change the colour of your player's clothes

- Hitbox tweaks

Thanks so much for the support!  I hope you enjoy the new update!

Thanks for the feedback! I'll try to balance it properly

Good idea. Thanks!

Thanks! I'll see what I can do.

Hey everyone, I'm thinking of adding an attack in my game , Etherbound, that would allow players to unleash a devastating wind slash technique after charging an attack.  It would be the first long ranged attack in the game, so I'm afraid it will become overpowered. Should I implement this? If so, how to I prevent the player from overusing it. Thanks for your help!

Windows port is up! Enjoy!

Im currently working on it. I'll get it out as soon as possible. I'll see if i can get it done tomorrow. If not, it should be done within the week.

Hello Everyone!

I just released my first game called Etherbound. It's a 2D local multiplayer game, where you can attack , deflect, thrust, and even flip off your opponent's head to secure victory. More information about game mechanics can be found on my first devlog.

I'm really excited to share this game with everyone. I've been working on this project for 2 months now, and I'd really appreciate it if you checked it out! In terms of updates, I will try to update the game as frequently as possible, but my life as both a 16 year old high school student, as well as being a solo indie game dev can clash.

This game is designed for you and a friend if you're ever feeling bored. You could host a local tournament with all your friends to see who ends up victorious, or just play a quick 5 minute game.

If you have any feedback, please let me know in the comment section on the Etherbound page.

Finally, I will try to get the game released on Windows ASAP. It's only on mac right now because I made this on my school laptop, which is unfortunately a mac.

I've had a blast making this game, and I really hope you have a blast playing it!
