Navigate the treacherous depths of the ocean, avoiding sea creatures, garbage and contraptions and get Plopp home safe.

This is our second game as Chili Mochi and it's a desktop port of the mobile version we released in July of last year. since the mobile version uses portrait mode the desktop version has large borders on the left and right. We did our best to add some nice visuals in the borders and we think it looks quite good all things considered, but we'll definitely steer clear of developing any more games that run in portrait mode.

The mobile version uses motion control for steering the character left and right, not something you'd want to try to do with a big tower PC even if it had motion control, so the desktop version uses keyboard control or you can use an external controller (like a PS or XBox controller). We also added the external controller support to the mobile versions which got an update today as well.

There's a 50% off sale on the desktop version for the next couple of weeks to celebrate its release.

Hey, thanks for adding the mouse sensitivity setting. Two problems though:

- if I start my first game without first going into the settings then the mouse sensitivity is zero, which means I can't control the laser at all and have to wait for the round to end so I can go to settings. Maybe try having a default value that is not zero.

- when i set the mouse sensitivity then it works and I can move the laser with the right speed. However, once I fire my first shot, then I can only really move the laser left and right, but not up/down anymore; it's just always pointing at the ground. If I move my mouse up a lot then I can get the laser to go up, but only for like 1 or 2 frames and then it falls back to the ground again.

P.S. I'm playing it in the browser btw.

Looks and sounds nice, but definitely needs a mouse sensitivity setting. Can't really play it as is since the mouse sensitivity is too high (for me).

I can rotate the bee with the mouse, but boost doesn't work. Neither spacebar nor double tapping do anything?

With some delay we would like to inform you that an update of Plopp the Drop is available. It's a fast paced color matching game where each game usually doesn't last more than 1 or 2 minutes. So, even if you only have 10 minutes to spare you can have several goes at beating the high score. Already enjoyed by hundreds of players on iOS and Android it would bring us joy if more people would play it on PC/Mac as well.

Plopp the Drop is the first game that we released as Chili Mochi and it introduces the Plopp characters that can also be found in our second game Plopp's Way Home (desktop port of that coming on itch.io soon as well). Our designer is creating quite a bit of lore around the Plopps and they should return in our third game as well; more on that once it gets past the concept phase.

See how crazy fast Plopp the Drop can get in the linked video which shows a recording of a high score game in Extreme mode. In Extreme mode the colors change every line and the game speeds up real quick.
