No, you don't get it. I'm jokingly saying "cause I don't have friends" that's not the issue. The issue is every time I'm imp these days I get caught after one kill cause someone says "I'm on the phone with my sis and she said it was that guy." It's bullshit and ruins the spirit of the game. This needs to get fixed. It's fine if you wanna play with friends, but friend groups should not be able to play with random people cause they team like crazy. It's seriously almost every game I play as imp that gets ruined by this kind of behavior.

Please PLEASE incorporate a random matchmaker of some kind. So many games these days are ruined by players snitching on imposters via discord because they're connected to other players in-game. Every second game I play as imposter has some random person telling everyone they know definitively it's me without any evidence. I get that this can happen by chance, but anyone who's played a lot lately knows the reason why and it's a major, systemic issue caused by the games growing popularity.

There is no catch-all fix for this problem, but at least a random matchmaker would prevent friends from joining the same game at the same time to cheat outside the game.

I don't know why anyone does this. Among Us is just a fun party game. It ruins the fun by telling people who killed you before the match is over.  Same goes for those who leave when they're not imp. If you don't want to be crew and you hate to lose games to imposters, why should anyone else be crew for you?

Edit: I'm not saying replace the current system, but there should be an option for people who play solo who want to play with other random players and not a bunch of friends.
