Very cool demo!
Good points:

- Each tile having a unique effect

- Meeting and recruiting party members and musicians

- Helping people out because it feels nice :)

- Lovely painterly art

- Naturalistic sound design for each arena

Criticisms:

- Some tiles blend together and look similar (Brickie bricks and brown chests are easy to mix up)

- It can be hard to read enemy stat boxes as their mouse-over regions are very large and overlap

- Feels like a lot of enemies are either too easy to beat, or do so much damage they're nearly impossible. Maybe some could move tiles themselves to be more active challenges?

Overall very promising, I'm looking forward to seeing how this progresses!

ooooh this looks fun! my antennae shall be FLOOPY

I echo all these sentiments pretty much exactly, except for the jump arc. I actually feel like Pumk drops too quickly after reaching the apex of her jump, but perhaps that's only because the upwards movement is comparatively much more floaty.

Love the overall look and feel though, hyped for future updates!

It's quite easy to get Pumk stuck in a falling animation if you jump into the corner of a platform and hold forward - her collision capsule gets caught on it. It's easily remedied by letting go of the control stick or double jumping, but looks janky when it happens.  Maybe a cylinder collision box would be better suited, especially as the platforming ramps up in intensity.
