This is an interesting idea and the pixel art is definitely very good! I really like the idea of getting different weapons. I feel that the game could use a little music to add to the atmosphere, and the combat is very hard so maybe adding more potions or save rooms would help too. 

The only really big issues I had is I cannot attack while moving at all, and blocking is extremely difficult. Maybe an improved block mechanic would fix everything tbh, then there would be no need for more potions or save rooms. The damage of everything seems balanced already though, in terms of difficulty the scaling seems just right 😊

I have a question - is there a map available in the game? After getting the axe and going to the church now I'm VERY lost and I don't know where to go XD

Please continue working on this, I've wanted to play this game again for ages since I had it when I was a kid

I played this very recently! Hoping for more people to see it soon, I played it during a marathon stream and just re-uploaded it.

the only thing its missing is fixed camera angles lol
