Hey! The first day lasts about 45 minutes, if you only focus on the main path, without exploring.

Hey Guys!
Evershade Day 01 is available for download !
Evershade is a Hybrid between a Visual Novel, a JRPG and a Detective Game.
More info on the game's MAIN PAGE.
What is Day 01 ? The game is gonna be released episodically, chapter by chapter. Every chapter is a 'Day'.
Of course, you can use your save of Evershade Prologue into this latest release. Then, your previous choices will be carried over to the next chapter.
To carry over your save :
Copy the 'save' file located in 'Evershade Prologue → www'
and paste it into 'Evershade → www' and choose 'Replace the file'.
I hope you'll check it out; we worked really hard on this.
Thanks a lot for playing! And for recording the video, it's awesome.
I tend to agree with you on the music. I made it myself, and it is not my strong suit. If I find a legitimate composer, I'd definitely use their music instead.
I am hearing you on the eating and mechanics systems. Maybe I can add a choice of a "Story mode" that would remove the energy/mood system and the various interactive objects, why not.
Resolution wise, the game is supposed to be 960 x 540, which looks sharp on my 1080p displays but jagged on my 1366 x 768 laptop. I'll look into the resolution tools you talked about.

-Story-
You play as Emily, a rather rebellious young woman, who isn't in the best of places in her life.
One day she decides, on a whim, to go to a cabin in the woods with her twin sister Alisa, so they can both unwind and hopefully learn to reconnect.
At the cabin, Alisa disappears. Emily is convinced her sister has been kidnapped. She will head towards the mysterious town of Green Carnation, determined to find her missing sister.
-Gameplay-
The game alternates between VN style dialogue sequences, RPG style 2D exploration and a Detective style clues gathering and puzzle solving.
There are small life simulation elements as well, you've got to manage your Energy with food/drink/sleep and your Mood by doing pleasant activities like talking to friends or painting, etc.
Only the Prologue is available so far, effectively being the game's introduction. The play time is about 2 hours.
Looking forward to your feedback!
