Yes, apologies... The file has been replaced with beta1.04.1 which fixes the issue.

No new features in these releases just bug-fixes. All known/reported bugs are fixed now. Future rounds of releases (marked beta 2, 3, etc) should be a bit more exciting, with some extra polish and new features.

Beta 1.02 is out now, with more lives and a fix for control selection being reset.

I’m glad you enjoyed playing it! The different backdrops appear in different modes but if you play the main mode long enough, bits of rubbish will pop up on the beach and eventually the big power station will appear. An aside: It’s based on a real coal-fired power station that was announced for closure on the very same day Landfill was released!
