Fun concept, could use more dialogue options. Art kind of clashed going from 2d to 3d, but that's more of a nitpick than anything.

I think this is a great demo to start out with, but I do have some criticism. It was pretty basic overall and could use some hints on where to go. A little more explanation on the story I think would help a lot with that. The only bugs(?) I came across were the (SPOILER) snake dude facing upside-down when moving left/right and (SPOILER) walking past the area where your head gets chopped off and walking off the map (also possible to walk off-screen afterward). With that being said, I think the lack of direction works with the mysterious vibe of the game, and having a smaller map compliments this. I also respect making your own art for the game!
Sometimes had bugs with the movement when not holding down movement keys, but, other than that, it was fun to play with. The tougher spirits changing position multiple times was a good way to make them harder to hit. I also like how the theme of light is used as the main gameplay mechanic. I managed to get up to a score of 146, which was challenging but still very fun!
The ending with the paper is a bit buggy, but other than that I had a lot of fun with this game. I like how you have to figure out how to change the batteries, etc. instead of being directly told. Unfortunately I only figured out how to make it to the one ending, but I still found the game to be pretty smooth and well-put together.
