To be fair, I wanted there to be some feel of urgency, and I feel like changing the height quicker would lessen that. Maybe if I work further on the game I’ll add an easy mode where the arrows can be held instead of mashed while still keeping the normal mode as the intended way to play.

Due to how inexperienced I am (and the fact that my laptop is shared), there's no way I can make deadline. I'm in way over my head doing any game jam right now, let alone a 4 day one. It was fun, though, I'll say that. If anyone wants my source code and to try pick up from where I left off, feel free to ask. Who knows, maybe next time.
So far I have:
- A way of loading 12 rooms
- A little box containing those rooms
- Some cool placeholder graphics
I'm currently working on:
- "Enemy" spawning
- Proper levels
And I'm yet to do:
- Make the thing that makes this game hard
- Make proper art
- Have a way of making "levels" that get harder (unless I make this a game where you do the objective as quick as possible and win)
