I have been working to hone my craft with 3D animation and want to find some projects to work on, expand my capabilities and freshen up the indie dev world with some decent animations. Making a horror project? Nothing sells fear like a perfectly spooky chasing animation. Making something fantasy? Set me up with an idea and I'll make any creature dance or sway anyway you like.

I'm VERY open to pricing as well, I can work with literally any budget. I'm mostly doing this for practice and fun.

I am running a team of developers working on a unique little horror/adventure project, and we are in need of a 2D Character Artist/Animator. We currently have a programmer making test builds, a composer/sound designer working on the soundtrack and sfx, an Artist working on backgrounds, and me running the circus.

The project overall has a kind of playful spooky vibe, not unlike Gremlins or Beetlejuice, meant to come across as just a silly little fun game that will end up catching players off guard with genuine horror beats. The concept of the project centers around the player character having two forms to switch between at will, having to use them in unison to maneuver the environment and battle spooky foes.

We have some concept art to work off of, and you will need to be working on spooky creatures and character animations, both NPC and Player. We're a small team, working on a Playable Demo at the moment, but we have plans for this to be a big, flashed out project in the near future. I am working on pulling together a team of indie developers to create a truly outstanding project. The project is a hybrid of action/adventure and horror, with a unique feel and intriguing gameplay style that I believe can really lead to a successful project.

The main idea surrounds Familiars, the titular creature that players control, which grants them the ability to shift between two forms at will. Gameplay and combat will encourage players to use these two forms in unison to navigate the environment and combat supernatural foes in a truly engaging and unique little game. Combine that with an interesting story and legitimately good horror beats, and I'm confident this could turn out to be quite a successful and memorable project.

I have some concept art to work with, all I need is a 2D artist/animator to turn them into animations and assets. I have a Composer/Sound Designer and a Programmer already interested. If any of this sounds intriguing to you, message me on Discord or my email anytime.
