Please consider minor quality fixes:
-adding diagonal movement (no need to add new sprite, horizontal movement sprite is enough)
-removing default orientation (facing left, stopping, and you default to suddenly turning right)
-making the player sprite go behind: sprites of trees, bushes, houses, etc. that block movement, by moving objects like roofs and treesone z-layer up. Alternatively, have a short player sprite, and the upper half of bush/tree-trunk sprites and so on to always float above z-layer (instead of needing to check if player is front or behind to determine which is rendered on top)
Notes: Always pick [Gold Find] when it shows up. (Goldfind+ is better than even BetterUpgrade+++)
Always pick [Better Upgrades] if Gold Find doesn't show up.
After you hit like 30-40 levels in goldfind and better upgrades, you get a new upgrade basically every 4 clicks, your income literally outscales the speed the levelup slowdown is.
and if you avoid AOE upgrades (even one is bad tbh) and have ok-high [HP-regen] you just never die.

This is how I solved the game with 22 moves, and 30 moves for 3 trophies.
For the first few levels, you can cheese a little knowing codes in advance, or by carrying/throwing ladder to pass doors.
For level "Grotto" you can clear it by throwing both the red key over the door, and throwing the ladder over to the door. Then, carry the red key into the next level, this is a "key" part to solving frame 9, opening the red box for getting the green key without needing the red key on this level.
Snapshot 14 and 15 are a bit of clever use to get a ladder, green, and blue key to the top of the level, the ladder is used to solve the next level without needing time travel.

The rest of the solutions are relatively normal and just using the ladder-climb-over-door trick.
