This game is engaging and an upgrade from the first in every way, I really enjoy the vibe of the Meowzy series where the game switches settings so quickly and always keeps things interesting and engaging. I have finished Meowzy 2 once so far (although like the first game I can see myself replaying it a surprising amount of times to get rpgmaker inspiration whenever I need it) and I would definitely be down to play it again. Solid game all around and the only significant complaint is the amount of random instakills in the overworld (such as the horses outside of the cowboy town) but Meowzy has always done that.

Overall this game is a solid 4.5 stars, I backed this game on kickstarter and did not regret it at all it was certainly worth the investment.

Of course, glad to be of help and to give your game some positive words. Felt a little criminal to see this game get no recognition considering how a lot of genuinely good ideas are in play and my playthrough was entirely bug free and well crafted.

This game is full of inspiration for me as a VX ace dev (especially considering how they have five man parties in battle, something I'm still trying to figure out correctly lol) and it shows how the RTP can be used creatively. You can tell the developer had a fun time putting it together and managed to piece together a very fun narrative and characters through the breadcrumbs that the RTP had offered which was very creative and nice to see. Overall if you like rpgmaker, especially VX ace in particular, give it a crack and you might be pleasantly surprised.

Game is pretty fun tbh, made me laugh
