Thanks for entering and giving feedback on so many entries! Really lovely to see ✨

(1 edit)

Congratulations on winning Pizza jam 14!

woof! I needed to draw out a chart to help me solve this without fully melting my brain but i really enjoyed it, Great to see a logic puzzle game entry in this batch

I really dig your 'patterns on patterns' style, makes everything feel like it has a culture and a history. The overornate armour is especially beautiful, I got very excited cycling through them the first time

Hope you enjoyed the jam, i look forward to playing more of your games ✨

Christ its completely wild to make an entire Zachlike for a jam entry! I fully loved this, amazing how many quality of life aspects you managed to get in there, arranging the command order feels really intuitive and the UI and symbols are all easily readable

Honestly this is one of the most impressive games ive seen in a pizza jam, amazing work ✨

Haha I like that you made it all mouse controls and a special shoutout to the way you incorporate the scroll wheel. love the little rodent helpers, the mix of 2d and 3d art and the chunky milk droplets.  it works so well as a physical comedy game because the goal is so simple, im just trying to make basic food and im wrecking everything

Great entry (again!) ya'll are seasoned pizza jam veterans ✨

Nice mix of genres and themes, i like the way the randomised dice rolls effect the game. I was very confused when it started but i figured it out quickly! Hope you had fun jamming

Very tight little game with lots of polish! Love the skeleton death twirl animation and the bone rattling sound, also i always like any game where i can play as a slime. Nice take on the theme , hope you enjoyed the jammmm

Very slick looking entry and a good use of the theme! I love a stealth game so im biased but i really liked this one. I found it funny that you need a certian amount of cake to get through doors ✨

LOVE the art and the use of this theme! It was really hard to get control of but it felt really satisfying when i did, its hard to unlearn years of gaming. Nice entry , great teamwork with this one

Vampire survivors really is perfect for the Devil Zone theme. Im terrible at these kind of games but this was really polished, especially all the effects and menus -very impressive to get done in the jam time!

Hope you enjoyed the jam ✨

Her saying 'Sorry, im skiiing' has been stuck in my head since

Also forgot to say, the character sprite is really lovely!

I really like the core idea that you have lots of spells but dont know what they do until you try it (or get a hint). I definitely think you could expand that concept and maybe give the player more feedback as to what happened. Hope you enjoyed the jam!

Nice entry, felt like an alternate universe Luigis mansion (even his weapon kinda feels like a reverse vacuum!).  I liked the addition of the timed spikes coming out of the ground , that forced me to change my pattern for each room. Great job with this entry, thanks for jammin' ✨

Such a good execution of the premise, i love that you leaned directly into the theme! I dug not knowing what minigame was coming next, amazing how many different assets (art, sounds AND controls) you got done in the jam time. Special shout out to the sounds , they are hilarious✨

What a mood! The aspect ratio and the soundscape made it feel really facist and oppressive (complimentary)

Loved the writing, the whole thing was a total pleasure, ya'll spoil me ✨

What a hilarious entry. That first puzzle was totally unexpected. Love the fast pace and all the chaotic giffing (especially the T2 nuclear blast one). Very nice work, hope you had fun jamming ✨

Ha the raw  randomness of the whole thing made it really tense for me !

Love the whole layout of the UI and the split down the middle, very perfect use of the themes. it would be funny if in the settings when you adjust the music volume it adjusts the sfx volume in the opposite direction :P

Fun entry, hope you enjoyed the jam!

Really cool twist on the tower defence genre! Loved the way the car handled and enjoyed trying to switch my brain between tasks. Such satisfying game feel, awesome teamwork on this one!

Awesome use of the theme , i laughed when the shop menu came up -wasnt expecting such in-depth dice modification. the enemy animations are great (especial shout out to the scissors walk cycle)  Sidenote: the unreal engine golden dice coins looked delicious

Really felt like an arcade game i wouldve played as a kid. Also i really like the bulky soldier character sprite, very charmingly chunky!

Oh the second person view thing is genius, very ambitious to actually attempt it. I love the shambler's mix of creature limbs, i think he/she/it isnt evil, just misunderstood. Hope you enjoyed the jam!

I liked moving around the space eating crisps, interesting character model too! Im curious about the narrative... I hope bob is happy. hope you enjoyed the jam :)

The physics on my arms are completely wild, really enjoyed watching them flail madly about and knock into doors, when i tried to drop the rubbish bag my arms flicked it hilariously high into the sky and kept knocking open doors. The textures looked nice too, i like that theres art in the restaurant. Hope you had fun jammmmmming!

Lovely original movement mechanics and great use of the theme! Really dug the style and slow drip feed of narrative too, very cool to see an entry like this. Hope you had fun jamming!

Brilliant use of the theme! Love the design of the credit card layout and very impressive to get so much voice acting in the short space of time. Nice work, hope you enjoyed the jam!

Yo what an amazing entry, i got actually hooked on this. The UI layout and card art are really wonderful and i love all the little sound effects of the chains and the different card decks coming into play. Very impressive, ya'll should be proud of this one. Hope you enjoyed the jam!

I love the Ikaruga style mechanics, once i realised  i had a special attack i did much better ha. Love the art and the whole gatcha theming, hope you enjoyed the jam!

Christ this is enchanting, what a baffling series of overlayed mechanics and lovely handcrafted art. It took me forever to figure out that was a top down view, but i love that layout and the static tv transition. I followed you, i  absolutely need to play the finished version!

this was a suprisingly original platformer idea, like a puzzle version of kirby. I really liked the characters walk animation and the bear and ant sprites. I was looking for the last ruby for a long time but i enjoyed the platforming and slowly moving up walls. Nice entry!

Yo very cool mashup of genres and insanely impressive to have time to implement a high score ranking (if that was indeed real)! Love the idea of having turn based character movement but making the bombs use real time. Very cool entry all round

Love the low-fi aesthetic, these doodley images really speak to me (especially the tutorial animations!). Good use of the theme too, thanks for jamming!

Really impresssive for a jam entry! I love the illustration of the big boss' cigar smoke  forming a heart, the music all fit really nicely and you managaed to write an impressive amount of branching paths in such a small amount of time! Amazing teamwork all round

Not sure how you came up with it, but its a really original idea! Took me a while to figure out how to get a higher score, but all the sound effects and style kept me trying. I also laughed the first time i heard the flag bomb sound effect. Very nice work!

Love the depressing idea of a modern midas just sitting in a storage locker hocking things online. Really nice environment especially the sound design (and the periodic table poster made me laugh). Very neat entry, hope you enjoyed the jammm

fun puzzlescript game!the pushing against objects mechanic is very original, not sure ive seen that before

Very original (and specific) game. I love that when you drink the camera zooms in and you have to play the gears of war reload minigame -thats some galaxy-brained thinking right there. Sidenote: the game over screen is actually very frightening to me, like a fast food akira. Thanks for jamming, hope you had fun !

Aw sorry looks like you werent able to upload a playable build, ill have to disqualify this submission. I like the cover art though!

What a perfect use of the theme! Really enjoyed the core game loop, (i basically used all my cards every turn haha) also im a simple man so i found it very satisfying moving the camera around the 3d environment. Lovely entry
