Zen train simulations are a rich gaming subgenre, transcendental transit experience

Hey do you have a bluesky page i can link to if i want to post about your game?

Fab use of the decker format

Just played through your games, love discovering a trove of puzzlescript gems!

The art is real satisfying to parse, and really dig how pared back the intertitles are, very cool business

This is so awesome, thanks! I promise to use them with a true heart

This is pure magic, you’ve convinced me to make a drawing game

Aw thanks that’s very sweet of you to say ❤️

I love how specific this is, I always feel like im awkwardly drawing a harpy from gangways

Love that just by putting in the word ‘artist’ youre compelled to get creative with it

Love this idea, theres something particularly magic about lost parts of tablet-fiction being represented deformed glitch text

just realised you are the 868 hack enthusiast i follow, everything interlinks

This was such a treat! Inspiring use of the txt format, such a joy to still be coming across original ideas on itch dot io ✨

photoshopping wounds onto stock photos is freshly upsetting

I dont believe this

but im willing to be convinced

"Damn you and your free markets!" is my favourite line of the jam

(1 edit)

Congratulations on winning the PizzaJam! Email james1138@gmail.com and we can work out a date that suits for pizza ✨

Saved this one for last cause i knew i would love it !! The structure is what makes this work so well, interplicing the levels with escalatingly excited cutscenes is a perfect format for me. Also unexpected to have such pro voice acting in a jam game! Spicy frog is my hero i hope i can be as chill as him in the face of dudes improv-ing at me ❤️

Nintendo is right, throwing shells and watching them bounce around is just really satisfying. Very nice restrained game design keeping it all in the one arena so you were able to focus on mechanics. Very nice work

This is such a cool concept, when the list of shapes/ spells appeared i was very excited. My computer could barely run it with all the lighting and particles but the main mechanic is awesome. (Sidenote this is a great name for  a magic heist game)

I take it you didnt have time to implement the mechanics but the art style is looking really nice. Im glad you entered what you finished, I can picture a fun binding of isac type game with these assets! Hope you enjoyed the jam

Phew I like the generous checkpointing, i wish more games had this. The pixelated look worked really nicely with the egypian theme and i like the mix of parcour and puzzle elements. I liked trying to trick the jump by jumping intp geometry ✨

Cat definitely got caught like a hundred times. Fun stealth game and i like that all the cats feel like giant stone golems. Great design of stealth sections, that really hard to do!

Not my genre of game but i really enjoyed this. My screen got really busy and chaotic by the end! Also well done fitting in so much in such a short amount of time

Hahaha, im not sure if the mechanic was really working but i found it very inspiring! I like the idea of having to watch lots of security cameras for a sneaky cat. Very nice entry, thanks for entering!

Very unique approach to the theme. The card throwing feels good but i Love love love the animation of taking off your hat to fire the laser, feels very proper and dignified

The driving feels tight (especially the handbrake turn) and it certainly is furious! I like the way the enemy taxis wobble arond the place. This would be very cool with a loop of picking up passengers, nice entry

Very gnarly firstperson movement mechanics, i can see youre definitely thinking about level design here. But my favourite part is the hand drawn tutorial signs, they are beautiful (especially the sprint one) all games should have those

Very ambitious to make a 3d brawler for a jam! I enjoyed jumping around and doing really high belly slams on enemies. Shout out to the graffitti too! Red cats are obviously the best

Okay it took me about 10 minutes to understand the UI but when i did i had a fab time! Really dig this interpretation of the theme, especially the combination of shop and dungeon crawler. Loved all the different icons for magical artifacts youre stealing too 💪

Always nice to get a sequel! Very proud of myself, I got the pocketwatch. The hit boxes are pretty large so i had to spin around a lot to get through some corridors 😅. I really like having to remember the directions from the begiinning to find your way around. Hope you enjoyed the jam!

Awesome! When i saw the UI i got very excited, what an ambitious entry (and totally on theme). I had fun sitting and planning out my turns, counting my spaces before filling in the slots. Very cool mix of genres and great teamwork, looking forward to seeing more from ya'll ✨

This is a great little Getting-over-it-Like. You gave it its own style, the claw makes it really forgiving and the torch gave a great sense of atmosphere and depth to the 2.5d space. I was very excited when i saw the 3d model scans in there! Very cool entry, thanks for jamming ✨

Every level i was more and more impressed, amazing how much you managed to expand on the one mechanic. All the art was simple but immediately readible so i could just focus on the thinky puzzling. Sat stroking my chin for a while on level 14. Honestly loved this entry ❤️

I was very skeptical at first but controlling the rocket felt great! I also like a game that has a lot of secret content. Very nice entry, hope nintendo doesnt sue ✨

Whoa the art here is straight-up gorgeous, all the bilboarded sprites are so convincingly 3d and the neon horror style feels really rich. Also excellent 'Hell's Cargo' pun! Such a cool entry

Love the style of this one, especially the robot's fall animation. The whole design and colours were really clear, i always knew what was going on and who i was controlling. Jumping and swapping and jumping again is such a hard trick, thank you for putting it in the tutorial instructions 😅
