I just watched a video on YouTube on how the body is supposed to be put together for the guy i watched the arm was floating In front of him where he could place the arm to the body but form me it just fused with my gun so i couldn't do anything with it.

When i was playing the game i think i made it close to the ending but wasn't able to continue once the lights went out because when i picked the body parts i had a glitch where they where just stuck on my screen covering the gun and a majority of the screen the game didn't crash but i decided to stop my playthrough because i couldn't see with the head legs and arms stuck in my face just figured i should let you know
