I loved how the game controls, looks, and feels. But I do have an issue with the gameplay aspect. This game lacks any sort of suspension. It really just boiled down to me sitting in a quiet room and waiting with nothing interesting happening most of the time. Give the player motivation to keep on playing other than "hopefully today something interesting happens".
It's really hard to see anything as soon as you walk out of the cabin, I would recommend making the flashlight stronger or increasing the range. It's also very unclear on what to do without relying on the pages description. Try adding some tasks system in the UI like "Go outside" and then "Run back home"for example.
Hi, I do love your music and when I start expanding this prototype, I would love to purchase some of your tracks/commission some chase music. But as of right now I don't really do collabs on projects anymore due to me being busy with my personal life, uni, and a mountain of personal projects I haven't finished yet :D
Thanks so much!
Originally you could harm the "thing" by straight-up shooting it with a gun and making it flee :D. However, due to time constraints, the idea was scrapped and will most likely only resurface at a much later date if I keep on working on it.
Here is a screenshot of an early version that had the gun implemented lol
damn, just realized that I never replied to you. Hope that u didn't mind but yea, this game was never beatable 😅. During my jam, I never came close to programming a finish line, I updated the game just by adding the only halfway done features and then left it at that. I do plan on creating a separate version of this game that will be beatable but that could take a while lol.
I'm sorry to disappoint and if you would like, I will notify u when the game is beatable
