Happy New Year! As of now, The Arson Betrayal is guaranteed to have at least 18 to 20 total chapters (We're almost halfway there!)

As of now the game contains a total of 7 Chapters with 1 Interlude Chapter. In total, all those have 8,789+ images and 269 animations and a lot of words in them I lost count.

It's already available publicly in my Patreon. I'm still waiting for Itch to approve the increase on my upload size limit so I can upload it here directly, but if not, I'll just link it through mirroring sites like Mediafire instead.

The patch fixes a vital bug where you'll both miss a scene, and later on be thrown into an infinite loop.

Unzip the file into your game directory.

It should go like this:

The Arson Betrayal (game folder) > game > patch

I found what was causing the loop, and I'll include it in the bugfix I'll release soon. Cheers!

Try playing the new update through an old save (starting from Chapter 5). I observed that the loop you refer to appears when the Act II is started through the main menu.

It's still a work-in-progress feature!

The game's currently out now for Patrons, but the public release will be at the 20th of Feb!

No dialogue has been changed for the prologue. It's just a visual remake sonce I didn't like how the old prologue looked.

Thanks! The interval between Version 0.01 and Version 0.02 was less than a month, so releasing every last week of the month would give me more time to test and make sure that the game is bug-free with no typos.
