Haha no, you didn't miss anything! It's basically just an overworld map with scattered platforming levels. We spent too much time working on other features and mechanics and didn't get time to add in important elements like story and progression!

Thank you! Yeah, it definitely taught us a lot! We're both pretty inexperienced at game development, so it nice to have at least sort of finished something lol

Yeah, we didn't get the quest/progression system implemented in time, so it's really just loose bits of content littered around an overworld map. We're currently working on finishing the rest of the game, so it'll make more sense then lol

Haha yeah, that's because we didn't have time to implement the quest progression system! Currently, there is no way to complete the game, and no reward for completing the levels. Too much of our time was spent fighting with GB Studio 2.0 lol

Also, thanks for the feedback! We're currently working on adding in the aforementioned progression features, adding the titular Chimney area and fixing bugs.

Unfortunately no, we ran out of time to write any music for the game. We are planning to add some in later!
