Hey! I'm Cxly and I'm a college student who is very interested in getting into gamedev. I mainly struggle with a fairly defeatist mindset, so if anyone has any tips and tricks to motivation or completing full projects I'd appreciate it!

I haven't made a full game yet, but I did participate in the GMTK Game Jam of 2021, and released a game for that. I'm hoping to participate in further game jams in the future!

I specialise in programming (C#) and mechanics but I also love ambient storytelling and worldbuilding. I hope to go into the industry someday, but I'm going to try to focus on it as a hobby for now.

One small fact about me: I love games where you can go through the same game twice with a completely different playstyle - something like Payday 2's skill tree mechanic or LOL's AP/AD ability splits.

I see, thank you for warning me! I'd built my game as a PC, Linux and Mac Standalone and assumed, without testing, that it would work on Linux fine, however after going back to check I'd specifically chosen Windows. I've updated the page accordingly

This is amazing ahahaha

The concept is really cool and the gameplay is really addictive and fun, though honestly the music gave me more of a dreadful than a relaxing vibe ahahah

Really cool game, looks visually great too and the levels have a great difficulty curve

The concept seems there but the controls screen is a bit of an info dump, the yellow squares are super annoying and it's not clear what they're there to do, the score bugs out and can jump randomly from 2 to 43, and it's not very clear what you're supposed to be doing

Great game with very difficult levels and great presentation

Great game, the presentation is great and the levels are certainly difficult
