Chess are very interesting and awesome game. You can make endless number of very different games basing on classic chess rules. I like your game but it's way to easy for someone who plays chess.

The best thing in this game is art. You choose the right art direction and the sprites look pretty. I like the atmosphere a lot.
For 2D platformer it's really important to get the character movement right. Unfortunatelly controling the dog in your game is often times really frustrating. The level design is really boring for most of the time. It's nice that you can play in the browser but the framerate is just not acceptable.

Puzzle design is find but it could use some polish.
