thank you for checking out my game! creating something like a ‘cooking sim’ in ren’py sounds difficult but i dont think its impossible imo :o TLC is a very rough rudimentary idea of a simulator (clicking on things and putting ingredients together in a list) but i think it was a good foundation for a basic idea should i ever decide to make something a little more complicated. :) i recommend checking out ‘a tavern for tea’ by npckc and ‘va-11 hall-a’ (which was originally made in ren’py before they switched to gamemaker), which follow the same premise of being a drink-making sim! maybe they can help somehow!

best of luck with your own ideas! id love to give it a play should it come to fruition :)

thank you for the kind comment! i used ren’py to put everything together, though i did also use clip studio paint to illustrate the art. i believe shaun(taro) used photoshop to work on the backgrounds, and temathy(tainment) used ableton to make the tunes!

thank you for taking the time to get all the endings! i hope it was worth all the trouble in the end :)

dances happily bc i love ur writing sm \o/ i enjoyed playing through all the options of your game! ash is very charming and no matter what route i go down, my chest pangs from seeing them get manipulated or scared by us ; __ ;

your prose is so delightful!! we really get to see how martin (if that really IS his name) thinks while he goes about things, but its done tastefully in such a way that it doesnt feel like too much exposition or internal monologue if that makes sense? rlly good stuff wowie !!!

this game wouldn’t be possible without the LSF !! im so glad you found and enjoyed the game, thank you !! ^^

watched dunkey's video on this and played it for myself with a friend!!! its really so funny and charming and full of personality :D

this made me so happy!!! i love the isle and its inhabitants :)

This was so convincingly realistic, I forgot about the theme of this whole game jam: I thought this was going to be some kind of productive asset, but I was more than pleased to find out I was wrong :) Trying to find (and win) all the minigames were really fun!

Thank you so much for your comment! I'm glad you enjoyed both the art and stairs ending :) Sounds and music were unfortunately not coded into the game in time for the game jam, but we plan on patching it in after the rating period is over. We'll also fix the issue with the font size as well. Thank you again!! :)

Thank you for your feedback! There was music and sounds that were supposed to be coded in, but I couldn't find the solution in time for the Game Jam unfortunately. We plan on patching this once the rating period is  over. Thank you for your kind words, they mean so much!

I wasn't expecting this to be as sad as it was cute omg ; __ ; I've felt that same familiar guilt with losing a pet, and trying to atone for what I could've done. This game was very good :'0

I enjoyed this very much! It's curious, dipping your feet into the dating pool and seeing what comes of it. All the endings felt warm and mirthful enough to be like a fairy tale, but still grounded enough in its reasonable emotions and responses.

A witch's word is good!
