I don't get notifications for itch.io so I'm sorry the reply is late. When the main character says they don't know who they are they aren't talking about gender or sex at all. They are talking about their personality, who they are as a person. They don't know yet.

yes so there was a twine update that messed up existing code (it's very annoying that it does that) but I'll get to this week and make a post here to announce it when it's done!
