I get it, I'm a writer, and I definitely use some of my darker life experiences to fuel at least the emotional moments for my characters. If I can put my mind into that state, for at least a moment to write out that scene, the better it comes out. Sometimes, I'll be writing and suddenly bawling... and my housemates will peek in and be like... "Are you okay?" Other times I have to like out loud go over conversations, which has gotten me weird looks - like... it it really that weird?... Its just, the personal experience makes it easier to relate to the moment that I'm trying to recreate.

So, I was going through the other routes, and randomly I recalled that you mentioned in this post that you weren't going to be putting a CG in at least one of the next chapters. It got me thinking, dangerous waters I will admit, but I wanted to share the thought either way. I love the art of all of Steamberry's games, from Changeling to Gilded Shadows, and now When Stars Collide. For each one the art has gotten better and better, and yet the original style still exists. However, I have always preferred story when it comes to Visual Novels and Interactive Novels (which don't usually have art anyway). A VN can consist of bad art but still be a favorite as long as the story pulls me in all the way through, however, a VN with beautiful art will be easily closed out if the story is not well written. With that said, I love the art, yes, but your STORY is just as wonderful. Do not stress yourself out with the art, or feel guilty for not offering a CG in every given opportunity. Take things the way you can, at the pace that you can, and create the game that you want. It does not need to be decorated with masterpieces at every turn. If you have the time, and the desire, and it isn't a point of stress - then go for it, put as many as you want.  That is all I wanted to say, to assure you that this game is doing wonderful, and despite the CGs being absolutely beautiful, this game would still be a top for me even if they didn't exist.

Oh man, been there, done that! It stopped happening to me a few years ago. I mean, it used to happen three times a week, but now it's only happened once this past year. Am I grateful! Which is kind of sad in retrospect, considering that it isn't complete gone... Haha, but yeah, the PANIC despite the LOGIC... Ugh. Anyway, good job, I'll probably sneak in another route in a bit... I am REALLY GOOD at procrastinating... People keep indulging me, ;-P

So, I wanted to congratulate you for your move! Hope your new place is to your liking and comfort! Also, LOVED the Damon (Andromeda Six) reference! That was PERFECTION. I haven't had enough time to play the different routes, but I am enjoying it. Also, you captured sleep paralysis so well - I used to suffer it in my early 20s, like... a lot. Even the part where, logically, you KNOW nothing is there with you during the event, you can't help but FEEL LIKE something is. Don't worry - it wasn't a trigger for me, it is something I have gotten over. Anyway, well written!

Can't wait to try it out! Love all of your games! <3 Love the art and the stories, you really know how to immerse a reader/player into a new world!
