Fantastic work on this tool! I have several GOX files which cause the greedy algorithm to fail (v-optimiser freezes) - if you provide a method of uploading a file I can provide an example.

(I deleted my previous two posts above - just me saying I'm working on it) Ok. I've been working all night on this and I've come to a conclusion...

I'm just not a fan. See the colour pictures below.

I've tried palettes from many different games from the era and nothing feels right. Probably because the original game was in B&W, and it emulated colour with plastic screen overlays. I considered adding colour when I wrote the game originally and decided against it. Now I know why.

So I think for the moment colour isn't going to happen. I hope this doesn't cause too much upset.

Hey! Try running  the control settings EXE After you have the controller plugged in. Click on a joystick control function (e.g. fire) and then press the button on the controller you want to use. Settings will be saved automatically. Get back to me if this doesn’t work...
