I was trying to learn Godot. The “outcome” was just for learning purposes only but I’m pleased with it.
Initially it was going to be a windows exe until I found out about itch io. I love that it is playable in browser and I just need to send the link to people!
Description:
Its a twin stick shooter with a retro look and feel. Very much a “chasing high score” game and rather difficult. Initially I wanted it to be a simple remake of asteroids with twin stick mechanics (T.S.A = twin stick asteroids) but after development it no longer looks like asteroids!
My formative gaming years were the 1980s so I was aiming for a commodore 64/arcade vibe.
I’d recommend a joypad - left stick move, right stick direction of fire
