Were you using a Nintendo Switch controller to play?

Were you just mashing the button over and over or doing something else? You can only use it up yo 8 times until your magic refills and then have to wait for it to fill again. Thanks for playing!

Thanks for the feedback. I'll likely swap the demo's keyboard layout to something close to this while I work on more customizable options.

Thank you so much for playing and I'm glad you enjoyed it! The game is definitely built around a controller so I'm going to continually improve the keyboard controls.

Hmm, not sure why it did that, I'll look into this. You should be able to open the menu and hit Suspend to save and back out to the title. 

The solution here is to copy the arrow-shooting gargoyle from the previous room and then spawn it so it shoots the crystal.

EDIT: ah, ok, if you spam the fairy button over and over fast enough you can get locked. Sorry about that, I'll work on a fix.

Yeah, it's better to use a controller.  What keys would you recommend? I don't play many games with keyboard so I'm certainly open to suggestions

From the room with the 2 bats, go up one screen,  then light the bombfruit to blast the wall away -- then you'll be able to trigger an event that gets you past those blocks! (Blocks can only be moved once).

Hello! I had two questions, was wondering if anyone had a way to achieve the following:

  • Is it possible to add effects to cards that activate when they're discarded for the cost of another card? For example, I have a card that discards 1 to draw 2 -- I would want to have some cards that say like, when discarded add X amount of MP/TP, etc, to allow for little combos/interactions like that.
  • Is it possible to summon party members to the current battle with a card (and then have them disappear after the battle)? So basically a little summon mechanic. Or is there a plugin that would do this without having to set card skill effects?

Hey! Thanks for the reply. I'm on Mac so hitting F8 doesn't pull up the debugger. I don't have any other plugins installed, it's just the base demo. I'm thinking maybe it's an issue with the game previewer on Mac?

I purchased the MV version and there are a lot of random crashes just with the demo. I haven't changed anything. Crashes can occur when you move the character anywhere, talk to one of the enemies to start a battle, tab over to end turn, etc. Seems to be totally random.
