I've finally managed to make a plugin by myself from scratch, which will put an end to this.

In the past I searched a lot for something like this, but unfortunately I found some that were buggy or too complex to use.

How it works:

I decided to use Dropbox, as it's very easy to use.

Important note: Dropbox only releases 2GB in the free version.

Installation isn't difficult either, I've left the step-by-step instructions inside the zipped file when extracting.

All the downloaded files go straight into the folder inside your game, so you don't have to worry about anything, it's all automatic.

The Updater scene takes place before the title screen.

You can choose the Updater background with any image in the img/pictures folder

I've just created an easy-to-understand quest plugin for RPG Maker MZ.

This system creates a Ranking just for fun, there are no rewards. There are 3 options in the plugin: “Update”, “Look Score”, “Insert Text”. Update makes you register on Github, and Look Score will take the information registered there and display it in your game. Insert Text server to write a text and it will be shown to the other players, I did this to provoke the others :) The value of the ranking is stored in a specific variable, which is set to 1 by default. The player's name (Actor 1), the battle graphic (Sideview) from the img/sv actors folder, and the text will be shown within the game, along with the value of the variable, of course. To change the value of the variable, go to line 30 of the code. It works in offline games too, you just need to create an account on github. It's very simple to use and there's a file called “Important”, which is the installation guide, but if you have any questions, please contact me.
