Thanks for checking out the game man! Checked out the Vod. Seems the difficulty is the biggest issue people seem to have with it. I do have plans to update the game when the Jam is over so I'll take a look into toning it down a bit.

Nice callback to Lucasarts adventure games. Loved the humour and characters. That controller joke at the end got me real good.

Fun little game. Though it seems the volume sliders don't work? Really enjoyed it.

Ask and you will recieve.

Nice art and music, especially the player sprites. I was confused a bit at first with the walls being the same colour as the ground tiles though. Enemies also have a habit of ambushing from off screen, a sound cue or a visual indiecator would do wonders.

Cheers for the feedback my dude! And with the first screen you can spam it, you get points each time you jump. A perfectly fine strat lol.

More than happy to oblige

Really good atmosphere, it was the sort of thing I was hoping to see when they announced the jam theme. My only issue was that shooting with the X key while using WASD isn't the most comfortable thing in the world. Really dig the art and the music.

This got me hooked, really fun gameplay loop. Kept playing til I got to a final score of 2,100. There was a minor bug where the game thought I was holding something durring the cooking sections but nothing was there, clicking the garbage can fixed it though. Overall, great work!

Glad you enjoyed it for the most part, appreciate the comment! As for the Tapeworm bug I have been aware of that as a friend of mine ran into the same problem. Nobody else becides yourself reported it so I assumed it was a rare bug, I've even tried to replecate it myself to no avail. I'll get to work on figuring it out and fixing it ASAP!

As for the powerups, there is infact a powerup that shrinks you down so you can reach those ones that are in hard to reach places. There is some level of RNG with the powerup system so you may get unlucky with the ones you get. I did however make sure the game would still be beatable even if you don't get a single one.

The lack of signaling of what each powerup does is another bit of feedback I commonly got and I understand. Each one does have an effect. the pink pincers make you move faster for example, but I can see how one may not notice as it's rather subtle.

Again, thanks for the feedback. Especially that Tapeworm softlock, now I know it wasn't an isolated insident. I'll be patching that as soon as I can.
