I can't tell you how excited I am for this game! The world building, characterization, art, music, sound effects, EVERYTHING is so impressive. I'm particularly in love with Avan and Lachance's interactions (as a side note, please Lachance give me a shot I'll go punch rocks with you and everything PLEASE). And the interactive component was so unexpected and welcome-- it was awesome getting to check out Avan's room and learn more about him, but then utilizing it on the body of a dead child? I can already tell this game's gonna be deliciously fucked up and dark <3 And also I adore that you went with the less common approach of using full CG's to tell the story, rather than sprites. It makes you really feel immersed with every scene. AND THE JOURNAL. Holy shit there's so much detail in that sucker.
This demo had me laughing at points, tense at others, and all around intrigued! Who are the mysterious dream figures? What's the fucking deal with these Echoes? Why have Robin and Avan not made out sloppy style yet??
I can tell how much love, time, and effort went into this game, and I can't WAIT to sink my teeth into it!
Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go play the demo again and try to get all the dialogue options >:3
I definitely considered letting players meet all of the boys properly, but the price of sprites and backgrounds was way outside of my budget ^^; Maybe one day I'll have the means to release an epilogue as a DLC or something!
You're absolutely welcome to write, draw, and create whatever you want regarding the game!
I'm so glad you enjoyed!! ;o; I was very nervous to see what people thought of the true ending <3
As for the missing images, every character prior to day 6 has an image that you can receive if you choose the right dialogue. For some reason, these aren't getting unlocked in the gallery -_- My programmer is aware of the issue and working on it right now (sorry!)!
Hm, this is an interesting one. When the route was complete, did you go through the credits (or skip them) to return to the main screen, or did you load up a save before that point? That's the only thing off the top of my head that might cause this, but I'm going to send it over to my programmer so he can take a more thorough look. We'll definitely get to the bottom of this!
I'm really sorry you're having this issue, especially when you're right at the finish line -_-
Thanks for reaching out, and there's no reason to apologize whatsoever! Bug reports are monumentally helpful ^^ Luckily, all of the bugs you've reported are ones that we're already aware of and are working on, so there should be an update soon \o/ (the general error when loading up a saved game where everything appears in a big bubble may take a bit longer, though, as that one's tricky).
The only outlier in your message is the freezing during Hugo's route. We've only received one other report of a freeze, and it was during another route and couldn't be replicated. It's possible that it could be an issue with a user's high CPU or RAM memory usage, but we're going to continue looking into it on our end!
Other than that, I hope you're enjoying the game! o7
Oof, I see... would you mind sending me an email with some screenshots of the exact dialogue that freezes, as well as information on the save files around that point? My email is deeoddgames@gmail.com
All the info you send over will be given to the programmer so we can get to the bottom of this issue for you!
Thank you so much for taking the time to report this all back to me, it's insanely helpful and appreciated! Some of these are known issues that we are currently working on, but some of these completely slipped by us ^^;
I've passed all of this along to the programmer.
Despite the hiccups, I'm so glad that you enjoyed the game!
On day 5, there will be a scene where the player says they need to stop "playing the field" and that it's "time to get serious". You are then given a selection to choose one of the boys-- this is where you select which boy's route you will play! From there, every character has a single ending, for a total of 6 endings.
After you have completed the 6 routes, you will unlock the True Route, which can be accessed on the main menu.
I hope this helps! ^_^
Not at all! The update we recently put out seems to have made some things go wonky... There's a fix you can do to continue playing the game until we have the issue resolved!
1. Click the gear icon pictured in the first image
2. Click on "Manage" shown in the second image
3. Click "Switch to another version" shown in third image
This should let you proceed with the game. I'm super sorry for the trouble-- we're working hard to get this issue resolved!
