I like both the way that Tailbound and Thirstchasm can be played. Thirstchasm felt more like a short, but fun game. I found it very enjoyable. You don't have to be so harsh on yourself.

No. To summarize, the creator isn't in the best of places right now, and life isn't too easy for him. He wanted to just drop the game, since it brings back bad memories, but he thinks that would be worse than finishing it and putting it behind himself. So, he'll get back to working on the game. If you can, you should support him.

You can't use your pointer while in game.
You use WASD to move through the options and use E to select options.

I think you can also get it while searching the cabin in the woods sometimes. But, more often than not, you'll get yellow berries and encounter wolves.

So, I'm fairly new to the game, and I have two questions, to be exact.
1. I can't seem to find any sort of a light source. I checked the wiki, which mentioned a torch, but I'm not sure how to get it.
2. I'm having trouble with the third piece of the lizard statue. The game mentions a young witch, but I've yet to encounter someone like that. I did encounter the witch in the swamp, but I'm not getting any talk/task options.
