Alright, well I do apologize for the way I worded it.  I was full of feelings at the time of writing, fresh off of finishing the Joseph playthrough, and yes I felt lied to, a little bit, maybe its all my fault for misconstruing the direction the game was going to go, but yeah based on the art, the way it was advertised, and then even the way some of the characters presented themselves in game, I did come to expect it to be a little more loosey goosey with the sex.  Yes I was frustrated and having cooled off, I am sorry I worded it that way.

Honestly I do like the story, the Ace Attorney minigame was very well done, and I'm excited to eventually playthrough the rest of the characters.  I got all of them up to just when you get sick, back when that was the end, but since then have only pushed forward with Jo with each update.  

I'm also not used to games rewriting previous chapters in updates, so I never would have expected you to go back to add more adult material after hammering out the story.  That would explain how often it felt like getting walked in on or blueballed.  

I do play monster hunter, and while it is kinda rich in lore and hidden stories, its not really what I consider a 'story heavy game'.  I actually think they tried to retcon a lot of their lore with World.

Again, sorry I was rude, I was certainly heated at the time.  Not an excuse, just an explanation.

I never said I disliked it.  I was merely airing a frustration that I had with its pacing and payoff.  I enjoy the story and the characters but just started to feel like the goalposts kept moving, the carrot was continually being pulled out of reach.  

Of course, the devs deciding is the final say :v 

But as a consumer I'm allowed to offer my opinion and express my disappointment.  

My opinion is that if I'm the Scriviner, then I get to decide when I'm ready for sex, and I decided its at the waterfall scene, or shortly after.  

The story is good, don't get me wrong.  I've only played Joseph to completion just cause i want to wait for it to be done before I do the rest.  Did a little bit of Ridge, and overall I'm enjoying it even if I feel like the devs have a trauma/depression boner going on here lol. 

I just feel like the "sexual pacing" (what a coomer comment, i know) would have been better with a few extra scenes along the way, before all this emotional stuff.  Some of us build our bonds through physical intercourse, and for me specifically it would have helped me fall for the characters easier.

This is of course, just my opinion.  I admit I'm a lot more 'sex casual' than some people.  My favorite recent game was On Your Day Off, which gets right into the action, and Knights College which had a sex scene at the end of every chapter.  Thats just the stuff I like.  I am also looking forward to Moontouched, which seems to be a much more story driven and spiritual game, but from my impressions of the demo, it will also be a lot more carnal.  By the end of the demo, you've already had the option to invite someone back to your tent to explore each other's bodies.  

Well that's disappointing.  I guess I'm just going to have to forget this exists then :v 

yeah nah, but a good time would have been around the time of Lake visit.  Hell, you were about to do it with Joseph in his route but you basically got walked in on.  It just seems to be a personal mission to deny us the scenes until the very end, which I don't agree with.

This is going to be a painful wait.

The art is beautiful, the lore is intriguing, and I greatly appreciate the spiritual aspects tied in, all while acknowledging the carnality of it (the ritual literally includes sex, lol, love it).  

This is going to become a favorite of mine, but I'm not going to want to experience it piecemeal... I'm going to want to wait for it to be all done.  I think playing each chapter as it comes out would just kill me, honestly.  I'm going to have to check back in six months, a year maybe, and fingers crossed its done and I can drown in it <3

I was not aware that I would have to repay the 8 dollars each update.  This is the first time I've bought anything on itch and well, I dunno that feels kinda scummy, like I thought I was paying 8 dollars for the 'full game' like i would an early access release on steam.

I guess the new model at least lets me get everything for free moving forward, if delayed, even though I paid for it.

I suppose the wiki and maybe the site are fine enough things to update, but the logo/text i feel is so superfluous that you don't really need to worry about it while still developing actual content.  That seems like a change that comes at the end.

well I'm going to keep hoping.  Got the paid demo with the guide, and so far the teased things on his path don't particularly appeal to me.  I do *love* his personality and scenario though, so yeah im hoping still x3

oooo i scanned the guide to see if the content would appeal to me before buying, and yeah.  I really hope the "Rubber" option leads to breathplay :3

Part 2?  oh so you're doing big updates as oppossed to other developers that will update like, one more day on a single route at a time.  Thats great!

I'd love to see an Arbok, with a naga body shape.  Naga's are not very common and we need to see more.

Alternativley, a machoke.  I love Machokes.  big, buff, and great feet <3

Played the demo and have high hopes.  It seems very ambitious honestly,   compared to other VNs i've played, the statues, the sheer amount of art screens (particularly the train opening), the map, etc.  But im hopeful and excited.  I'm so happy to find a VN with a focus on feet finally as well.
