Thank you so much for you feedback and I appriciate that you took the the time to try out my prototype!  I am planning on adding a slide motion and knife attack when upclose, I'm still considering whenever or not to change the split shooting or have it where you shoot from the direction your facing like traditional side scrollers. I added crates that you can destroy that give you a destruction bonus but I plan for them to drop collectables that you can pick up, I'm also torn to lock it strictly 2d and play that way or keep the directions the way they are. Thanks again for taking the time to review my project!

Three Cheers for Capitalism

I love the direction this game is going in, the graphics looks great and honestly even though it was short I like how you can already tell the personalities of the characters. Is this game strictly going to be puzzles or will it have combat mechanics and more to be added?

Reminds me of Bully's chemistry mini game, I like it, would be nice to see different difficulties and maybe some different styles of gameplay added in updates

The game centres around a small town that due to unknown reasons suddenly  residents became infected with a strange illness that makes them violent. You've been sent there to clean out as many as you can and find the cause of the outbreak.

What is there to discover?

This only contains the first two missions and the first boss, I'm posting this prototype to see if people like the idea and if I should move forward with this project.

is there a comment section on the game page?

If you could please try out my prototype and give feedback and things I could add I'd really appriciate it!

It's quite fun and actually looks like a promising game. I feel like it could use more enemies less bundled together and more spread out. Personally love the blink effect. One problem I have noticed that occasionally after parrying the character couldn't move unless I blinked away. Another feature that I would say to add is to zoom the camera in so you can't see the whole room at once and the camera tracks the player. Also health pick ups would be a nice feature to see. Other than that I enjoyed this short prototype, keep working on it.
