Shhh no one tell MrDrNose, I want to drink soda indefinitely like the ultimate hunched backed computer gamer that I am

I don't think anyone else in these comments mentioned this, but if you hate the trash that much OP, you can literally just get rid of it in the game selection screen.

So, you select your save file, click "reset slot" (doesn't actually reset your slot right away) and it brings up a menu of things you can select to reset. Just check the "clean dirt & trash" box and then apply. Almost all of the trash and dirt on your base will be gone (the setting isn't perfect and misses a dirt stain and trash pile here and here). You'll still need to pick up all of the individual pieces of trash, such as the soda cans and papers, but I recommend taking those over to the workbench in the garage and just piling them on top until you can craft something. Most things need "scrap" to craft, and that's exactly how you do it.

Although the game is in pre-alpha, there's TONS to do and explore, and I recommend taking your time with the game. Things will get easier the more points you earn, and you can even gain an assistant if you really don't want to get the hash codes yourself (I really recommend getting some scrap crafted for your assistant). The game has come a long way, I mean before there wasn't even gravel paths, so it was easier to get lost!

And, if you're really that impatient with things and want to have an easier time collecting signals and not having to worry too much about other things, you can always edit your save file and cheat yourself some points. That way you can get the assistant within the first couple of in-game days, and even upgrade everything so things break down less often.

To aid in repeats, could just add a small cut for it to be like a different day. That way, it can tally how many days you can go as well.

This would be interesting for the dev to add! :)

I had the same thing happen to me. In one playthrough, he claimed to have had a problem with work, so I called the D.D.D. but I killed 1 neighbor on that run. Wasn't sure if it was him though.

Perhaps it was a bug because in a different playthrough, he came through, same thing happened where the only thing wrong was that he had an emergency at work. Called the D.D.D again and this time there was no killed neighbors on that run! So yeah, most likely a bug or we both somehow killed someone else when that happened.

My favorite activity in this game is absolutely wrecking my ATV into a tree on a steep slope, resulting in me tumbling down the slope cartoon style for multiple minutes.

I don't think doing that really did anything, even at fully turned down graphics I'm still churning out 40-50 frames, and then 25-30 frames with normal graphics (minus shadows and volumetric light, with those I get 15-20 and it's hell)

Are there specific PC specs this game requires? Cause like, it seems like my PC is good with every other game but this one, and I'm only able to reach 40-50 frames with graphics turned all the way down. (note I have yet to try out 0.6.3b, I think the last version I played was one of the 0.6.2's, I think-)

The thing is, there USED to be the ability to scroll on the console in the other versions, but he either removed it, changed the buttons for it, or it's broken and he has yet to fix it. Very sadge.
