Hello everyone! I have two main motivations for making this game:
1. I feel that India as a location has not been utilized for games. I wanted to create a different experience by telling a story in a relatively untapped environment for my audience.
2. I am a game designer with a decent amount of experience in Unreal engine. I wanted to create a game using Unity engine and transfer my skills their as well.
Summary:
Off_Duty is an FPS game that takes place in an Indian city. It has a linear progression with a focus on narrative, environment and balanced gameplay. The protagonist is an off duty special agent working for the police who is trying to investigate an illegal smuggling operation in an older part of the city. He is outnumbered and facing armed enemies. He is outnumbered and must face the odds.
