Thank you for the feedback :)
I certainly agree that speeding it up faster at the start would have been a good idea.
With regards to more random cubes, I wanted to keep it completely skill-based, without a random element.
Pros:
- Character sprite was cool
- Followed the theme
- Enjoyed flying through the air!
Cons:
- Background image is stretched
- Player gets stuck on walls
- When switching direction camera shifts
Keep up the good work :)
Had a really fun time unlocking the weapons, I'm a big fan of dungeon crawlers.
I got stuck on the water part, I tried multiple times and by pressing different keys to get through it, but couldn't.
Is it possible to get through it?
Also, it would be nice if the level reset when you die, I jumped off the back of the second level and had to start the whole game again.
I recently learned Python and wanted to give it a go.
I had a really good experience with it, with the exception of publishing.
Hi Stu,
Thank you for the feedback! I'm going through all the games now and will be sure to get to yours if I haven't already :)
Thanks for your suggestion regarding the background music, also, good point about the controls and instructions.
Hi Neon,
I received the same error after level 2, perhaps it was caused by the mobs stacking up at the end? Or perhaps there are no further levels?
In any case, I received this error multiple times when reaching what I think was the end of level 2.
I could not play the game, however, after reading the description and instructions, in fairness, I made the assumption that it worked as described and rated accordingly. Congratulations on your first game!
