Sorry! Did not mean to ignore. Really appreciate the time and effort you've put into this  :)

Hey, I did receive the email, I'm just quite busy at the moment. Honestly probably won't have the time to give it real attention for the next two weeks, but would love to help out after that

super fun game!

Looks awesome! Really enjoyed the gameplay too! Great work!

Hey! Glad you like it! Unfortunately I don't have the means at the moment to build this into an actual font file, but I'd be happy to provide a vector file of it if that would be helpful!

This was awesome, really great work! Loved the art!

I’d be happy to help with the English translation! Email me, jordanstephensen@gmail.com

You did a really great job of catching all the detail in the game as well. Super impressed by this!

Really love this — thank you for reinterpreting my work! I think you've done an amazing job turning it into an interactive fiction!

Hey, this is amazing!! I don't speak Russian, but I was able to play through it using Google Translate. So glad to have inspired you, and love what you did with it. It was really cool to see how you interpreted it into a new language and new system. Thanks so much!

CC0 1.0 Universal. Feel free to remix or use without attribution (although if you would like to credit, it would be appreciated). Thanks for asking! I've added this info to the asset pack metadata as well.

Thank you! 😄

Thanks so much! The original scope of the game was much larger but I trimmed it way down to focus on learning the basics. But would love to do either an expanded version of the game or some kind of sequel. Bigger map, multiple towns, more in-depth NPC storylines... kicking around a bunch of ideas right now, so definitely keep an eye out!

And I like your idea! Definitely want to experiment with more palettes or more realistic light sources in the future.

Fixed in v1.0.5! Thanks again for playing!

Thank you for flagging! Will patch that asap. And thanks for playing!

Played through a few endings — really loved this!

Talking to the Sheriff is actually optional, all it does is add a bit more context to the story. You don’t need to talk to him to progress the game, you can complete the game without ever talking to him.

I just played through the quests until obtaining the knife, and at that point I was still able to talk to the sheriff, so I’m not sure I’m able to reproduce the blocker you’re describing.

As a hint, obtaining the knife allows you to access a new area where you can collect another item. If that doesn’t help, please feel free to email me with more info on the problem you’re running into!

Fixed the NPC bug in v1.0.1! Thanks again for playing.

Thank you! Fixed that NPC bug in v1.0.1.

There are some "alternate endings" depending on the choices you make at the end, but the alt endings allow you to restart a checkpoint. There is only one "true" ending, so if you got to the credits, you experienced that ending.

There is one decision you can make about mid-way that will give you slightly different outcomes in that particular encounter, but this encounter doesn't affect the ending.

Thanks so much! That's a great idea, just published a patch with the collision box adjusted as you suggested, so if you haven't played on GB yet, grab the new ROM. Love your work btw, I put a few of your games on my play list, excited to check them out!

thank you!!

Loved this! Great job man

ah I hadn’t run into that bug, I’ll look into it, thanks for flagging! And thanks for playing!! 😄

Great work! I used one of these tracks, and one from Vol. 2 in my game Foal's Creek.

Great work!! I used a couple of these tracks in my game Foal's Creek.
