Thanks! And yeah I haven't been able to fix the dialogue system's text that much

Cleared the stage! Honestly I thought there would be another but then I checked the description
It's short but it IS a shmup, given the limited resources it's quite challenging given how the enemies (and bullets) were placed around the place--and also a 'wall' of circular enemies caught me off guard it was fun
I know it's still WIP but its pixels and animation are well overall! It would be cool to see where this is going (as 'Smol Witch Saves the World')
Nice concept! The way you have to time your input correctly by following the rhythm is a nice touch
I got it run on Linux too via Wine perfectly, so there were no issues on my side
The only problem I had is my own skill issue, I can't get past beyond a certain point and so I can't make it to the caterpillar! (;ω; )
Get ready for a 1-button top-down shooter with knives and bugs!
Kunai Kitten is a game of a ninja cat defeating the bugs who ambushed them.
Submitted for 1-Button Jam 2024, all controls are using a single spacebar only.
Try it out and test your aim precision for free!

Stylized theme and catchy music design, altogether with solid game mechanics!
I love how it feels when your projectile lands on the bugs, I guess they just have enough size for their hitboxes—regardless it just feels right hitting them at the right timing
Also the aim! It's cool to see a familiar control but you can adjust the length of your aim! It was really funny to use this mechanic, it forces you to make optimal adjustments to your aim in relative to the path they're going with—I really really REALLY liked this part of the game
Lastly, the ant with a bomb. It caught me off guard! I panicked at the first encounter since I know how damaging it could be receiving a bomb from an ant
Overall, it was brilliant game. Enjoyable and really fun (addicting) game loop. If you're done with the main story, you can challenge yourself with endless mode
Fun and addictive gameplay
I'm not good at these kind of game mechanics but I enjoyed it nonetheless--it was satisfying to make the correct inputs
Not to mention you can queue your inputs, as well as it has an endless mode (although I can't get past 200+ since it's too fast at that point)
Overall, really neat game
