I thought the title was a reference to this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daisyworld

was this the subject of a game jam? Because there's a similar game in the recent games search

may not have been the intention, but this reminds me of Youtube channels like Rambalac that have walks through Tokyo and various other cities, often at night. Having little peeks into the various office buildings and stuff, felt like an interactive version of those videos

link to the music goes to some sort of dungeon synth album on archive.org

oh, I don't think I tried that. I thought it'd be the number keys

I ran into a bug (I think) when you finish the exam. When you are throwing out the trash, if you don't pick up four things at a time and throw them out, I don't know how to select the last piece of trash. I tried every key

failed to load audio step.ogg

is there any way to include a Windows download?

the look sensitivity could be better by default too, but the main thing is my character keeps looking down for some reason and I have to keep moving the mouse up or I'll look down at the ground

no collision on the trash piles, lost the path I was supposed to be walking on, eventually fell through the world

slowed down pretty hard in the forested area, was hard to play. On the web version

found it

nice little game, the stages got more interesting as it went on. The river part, if I go to the left, I end up in a dark fenced in area and I can't seem to escape. If I go to the right, I end up falling off the world and it doesn't warp me anywhere. Other than that, good job

ok, I think I explored everything that's possible to explore. it seemed like in the mines I just hit a dead end though

oh, is the music just default rpg maker music? I don't know what the RTP sounds like for the newer games. The Monk Temple theme also sounds sort of like Corridors of Time

good job, only complaints were that it was a little annoying that only some enemies (the ones that made sense I guess, so like humanoid enemies) would drop gold. Also the ship theme sounds awfully reminiscent of the Dragon Quest IV ship theme at one point. I think I'm nearing where the game 'ends' now, I got to Pyramidia but it didn't let me enter. Was Kyle supposed to be able to read the inscription in the Hidden Temple?

Other thing is I think when you are able to get the stat-increasing items at the bazaar town (can't remember what it was called) it may become a game balance issue later on when gold is easier to come by

how do you walk on land?

I forgot, something to do with the controller being in the wrong mode or something

just thought I'd let you know

it's ok. Interesting we have two of the same dreams, libraries and going back to school

sorry if I was a little harsh, it was worth trying the idea at least. But I think you'd have to have very good controls to imitate balancing stuff in real life

beautiful graphics, gameplay was less compelling

original idea, but maybe a little too original lol, as in there's a reason it hasn't been done

is there an ending or not?

uh, I waited for the music to loop and then gave up by falling off the stairs, sorry

hey, freemusicarchive is great! If you like to just listen, the 'netlabels' tab can help you find some nice stuff

oh yeah, the OST seems new, is there a separate download of the OST?

oh yeah, also the apartments remind me of Vignettes (the original), where everything is like this interconnected apartment complex with like rooms with furniture and even some kind of diner/restaurant I think? (although it's hard to judge from the abstract shapes)

Great update! I like the additional dreams, they're not too distracting from the aesthetic of the regular game, although some of them are a little more mazelike than the actual proper LSD levels. I liked the inside of the house/apartments and the outdoor area with the warehouses. I never got to the suburban neighborhood in the screenshots

you should post whatever seems interesting enough, that's the point of itch.io imo, to share the sort of inbetween projects that might even be like a tech demo but someone somewhere might still want to try

Great graphics, even though it's a slideshow on my measly computer. But did you steal the Koyaanisqatsi theme for this? Don't get in trouble

way too slow for the level of detail

I love virtual galleries so this is fun, just wish there were more paintings...

no I search new games posted tagged "Relaxing"

there was already a homebrew NES game on itch called Böbl, just so you know

a few comments, if you approach the bus too soon at the beginning, you'll collide with the bus and end up riding the bus, but clipping through the floor so you can't move. That, and at the end, you can walk across the lake (although maybe that's on purpose?) Also, I couldn't figure out what the bus driver is supposed to be. Looks like he's filled with guacamole

Neat little game

one version of this idea had a bunch of markov chain generations of poetry and stories, which still had intelligible words but together they didn't make much sense. That was a lot more entertaining than just random characters

it helped, but it said the old setting was 5000, lol. You may want to check on that as it's supposed to only go to 100
