Yes, there is a way to escape the room. I'll give you a hint: Skyrim has a similar bug that inspired us :)

Glad you had fun with the game! Ivan actually tested out the game himself and made a comment about mouse sensitivity as well, but we didn't have time to implement the option to change it.
The 2nd Ivan is really tough to find, I'll be amazed if anyone manages to find him.
