I seem to be getting this error every time I try to download this game, and I believe it's because you named the file "v0.00". The period seems to be throwing the whole thing off, it thinks the last two zeros are the filetype, not .zip! Renaming the file without the period does nothing on my end. However, I've downloaded other games from the jam and they seem to not be giving me this problem with the 0.00 on the end. I'm not quite sure what's going on.
I suggest re-zipping the game (don't just change the file name, the data might already be lost) without the period and see how that works. We'll see if we can figure this out.
I appreciate the joke and it's good to see you survivin, but I can't accept this as it's yume nikki with a crunchy coat of paint on top of it. I would accept a mod that was like Yume Nikki Hazard, but this is just a filtered version of the original game. Sorry, but I'm going to have to remove it from the jam.

This game has been removed from the gamejam since it was made outside of the gamejam. Our apologies - I'm still downloading it and giving it a whirl soon.
It depends, as you're allowed to be as experimental as you wish, as long as you fall under certain parameters. It's more of basing a game from Yume Nikki rather than ripping it off wholesale, but that's acceptable too. There's a lot that can be done with the genre of "open world look n' find" & "real world -> dream world -> real world -> dream world (and so on like Fleshchild)" that you can theoretically make a Yume Nikki fangame that's only an echo of the original. If those parameters don't satisfy you though, it's all good and you don't have to participate if it's not your style! Good luck, hope this cleared it up a bit c:
While I'm not opposed to giving Yume Nikki Fangame creators money, you are using a modified sprite of Kikiyama's and are kinda selling it in spite of using something you didn't get permission to make money off of. Even though you don't have to pay for the game to download it, I'd suggest you'd take the "name your own price" tag off unless you reupload a version with your own sprite base instead.

That's fine! You have until 5 days after the jam to turn something in, even if it doesn't quite meet the 10 worlds, 3 effects, 3 events guidelines. Just don't give me Wakana Nikki and you're good. If you can't make it at all, that's fine too - when you finish, just send it to the Dream Diary Jam tumblr & I'll post it there for other players to see. :)
