Hey, pixel artist here. I've got a few years of experience and have pivoted into learning the Godot engine as well. I'm always looking for more opportunities to learn Godot stuff.

It's got a strong theme. I really like the crashing waves, hopefully someday I can animate that well.

I also used the optional pallet. You used a much greater range of color than I. This is giving original Zelda vibes. Well done.

The yellow UI bar, its an interesting shape to go with. It reminds me of a helix, like filling up the bar would represent some kind of organic growth or evolution. Is that what you were going for?

I also like the retro look, the bars remind me of SNES era games.

You're weapon icons look really nice, as well as the mouse icons. I have a single gear icon in my project but I don't think it turned out anything as nice as yours did.

Nice variety of color, these could work really well across many types of games. The animated wheels are a nice touch, made me realized I didn't make anything like that.

Very well done; you've communicated so much depth with the addition of just a few more colors. The contrasting grays make the buttons look thick like they make a satisfying sound when they're clicked. The sheen on the bars is a nice tough as well; it totally changes the look with just one more color. It's giving me a lot to think about my own work.

I actually just finished assembling the team and hadn't gotten to a computer to delete the post. Really sorry about that.

The bulk of what I have learned has been a frankenstiens monster stitched together from reading engine and coding language documentation in combination with countless YouTube tutorials. To be fair, I'm with Josep in that I chose Godot, but I see no reason it would be any different from Unity. Good luck to you.

So far, almost every role has been filled, and the majority of teammates have at least enough Godot knowledge to assist once their primary role is fulfilled. You'd be leading the work in the engine with several hands helping.

You can hit me up on discord as well.

I'd certainly be open to it. I think there would be at least two others with me now. There is a programmer and an SFX guy who are pretty much on board with me atm.

I'm creating a server and starting to invite people so we can plan ahead of the jam.

Your music is good. I'm trying to put a team together; at the moment though, it's just me for sure. I'm a pixel artist and I'm reaching out in a bunch of different directions. Would you be interested in joining me?

I love the showcase of your SFX work—impressive stuff. I'm a pixel artist looking for a Godot dev, but I'm also looking to fill other roles so we can hit the ground running. Have you found a team yet?

How experienced are you in Godot, from 1(totally new to the engine) to 10(Slay the Spire 2 amount of knowledge)?

If I can land a Godot dev to pair with my art, then we can talk more. As it is, it looks like I might not be able to do this jam. The limit on the number of team members has been a real challenge.

Looking for someone with good Godot experience to learn from. I've done a few projects in Godot, but I wouldn't call myself anything more than a novice.  If you know the engine well but wouldn't mind some help during the jam, I can do the art and then jump into the engine to assist.

Yeah, sounds like a neat idea. I'll jump onboard!

Primarily, I am a pixel artist, as you'll see from the games listed in my profile, but I also have some personal art if you'd like to see more of my style. I'd like to expand my horizons and become a bit more multifaceted in my skills, so I recently participated in a 3D horror game in Unreal and got my hands dirty in Blender. I've also spent the last two months trying to learn Godot whenever I'm not working. If you need an artist but also think you may have a few odds and ends in other areas that need doing, I'm your guy.

Like most here I am bad at this but I great concept and execution.

Finely polished, didn't encounter a single bug. It just played well, and perfectly fits the theme.
