I played this a while ago, but never got around to writing a comment until now. Needless to say I very much enjoyed this game, and Ayamie is such a sweetheart. I really liked how you wrote their story in such a natural way, especially with the last bit at the end. The way they both talked about their feelings were quite realistic in my opinion, and very adorable. The questions were also super interesting! I learned quite a lot, and was surprised I got some correct 😆. Lovely little visual novel, definitely recommend to at least try it out ☺.
Hi! Firstly, thank you, thank you, for your compliments >< I was kind of worried because I didn't get to polish this as much as I wanted, but I'm glad it at least provided an experience you enjoyed^^ About the "-", yes that was a mistake on my part :') I should've used "???" but I thought that using the former was better, which led to confusing dialogue :'( Whoops, yes, there were times when the marker didn't show when she responded -- I'm sorry for how confusing that was ><
Then about the endings being very vague, I originally planned to have another mini-story after the player achieved their ending where they may choose another character to play, in favor of the optional theme: "more than one". That story would've explained why Elli was acting the way she was, and hopefully clear up any assumptions that the player might have had during the first playthrough. Unfortunately, I was being very ambitious already with the art, then stuff came up and I was unable to implement this into the final game :'(
Either way, I am really really happy you played my game, and had a great experience with it, despite everything >< Thank you, thank you!
edit: I apologize, there was some dialogue that I forgot to put a label ><
Hi! Thank you so much for playing my game! :D I’m so happy right now aaaa I’m really glad you liked it!
Thank you as well for your feedback! Yes, I did intend for the writing and the choices to be vague, but I got carried away with it here :’) When I possibly make my next game, I’ll keep your words in mind!
As for the itch.io app, I’m not quite sure as to how to do that, since this is my first time; I’m assuming that it can’t :’(. But next time, I’ll look into it further!
Again, thank you very very much! This means a lot to me :’))
