Great game that I just finished (I appreciated the challenge of the last boss... not easy but not unfair). You succeeded to exploit the full potential of Pulp engine. With 32/42 opened chests, I'm happy to revisit some sectors of the map. Hope to be able to 100% complete it. Good work again!

Fantastic game that is a must have for the Playdate. I enjoyed every hour of my playthrough. My only regret is having 3 items missing from the list of equipment (but I found the secret room... Hooray!). Congrats again for your work!

thanks Daniel :)) Still a prototype but I'm encouraged to pursue the adventure.

Hi, I am an illustrator/animator based in Montreal and Pet Sematary is my first experience as a game developer. It was made in 2 months by myself & Jesse Eisenbart for SuperFESTival hosted by the Hand Eye Society.

You can play for free here : https://doiion.itch.io/pet-sematary (Hope you'll enjoy it!)

Plot
A young girl named Lily discovers necromancy through a mysterious book found at the municipal library. Accompanied by her dog Spot, she decides to bring back to life all her former pets buried in the cemetery. Unfortunately, the experiment goes wrong and Spot will have to come to her rescue.

Gameplay

You play as the loyal dog Spot who must fight the evil forces inadvertently awakened by your master. Use bones (as a melee weapon or as projectiles) to battle an army of skeletal-looking cats, bunnies, and fish. Dig your way to Lily but don't forget to pick up precious treasures hiding under the ground (it could be useful)!

Controls

  • Move : WASD
  • Throw : Right Click
  • Super Throw : Right Click Hold
  • Melee Attack : Left Click
  • Roll : Space
  • Dig : E

Thanks :)) I would love to make an other game.

Thanks David, it's appreciated. It is a first experience as a game designer... I still have a lot to learn :)
